I gotta say, I’m quite proud of this one. This is my son’s Benchmade 940 with custom scales. I just got it reassembled and decided to throw it in the lightbox. This is the result:
Still working on getting the hang of taking shots in my softbox/lightbox. I believe I need to get some better lighting equipment….
Built myself a homemade lightbox and decided to try a little “product photography”. So, my son had some knives and I had my pipe. Here are the results.
I took these this past week, when I was on a “mini vacation” with my wife. The neighbors were “testing” their daughter’s new remote controlled truck and just happened to be out with my camera. This thing was unbelievably fast. 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds. And that’s not scaled 60mph, it truly hits 60mph! It was good practice for me to try tracking such a fast moving object.
I managed to get these shots back in February. During their migration, they have a stopover between February and March.
So, I’ve been trying to get this site up and running. I can’t figure out if it’s working or if I’m just posting “dead air”. Truth is, I don’t really have any idea what I’m doing. But, I will continue to trod along, in the hopes that I get something right. Still trying to learn how to imbed a photo to the “blog”. To test run this, here’s what I hope are some Black Bear nuts…
